CL Warns Residents of Company Soliciting Water Service Line Coverage
City of Crystal Lake clarifies HomeServe is not associated with the city.
The city of Crystal Lake has issued a notice to residents that a third-party company is soliciting residents for water service line coverage.
City officials have been informed that HomeServe will be mailing solicitations for their services to residents in early January.
"The City is not affiliated with this company or its services in any way," Public Works Director Victor Ramirez said in a news release. "Residents should use their own judgment in deciding if this is a service that they wish to purchase."
