Police Seek Information on Missing Schaumburg Woman

Beata Candre, 48, of Schaumburg, has been missing since last weekend.

Beata Candre, 48, of Schaumburg, has been missing since last Saturday and police and volunteers continue to search for her, according to a Daily Herald article. 

Between 50 and 60 volunteers posted missing person fliers Thursday at restaurants and grocery stores throughout the area, according to the article. 

Family and police are concerned about Candre's well-being because of a medical condition, according to a Schaumburg Police Department community alert. 

The mother and wife is described as being 5-foot-3, 170 pounds white woman with brown hair and blue eyes, according to the Facebook page, which has been set up to provide updates on Candre. 

She was wearing a black shirt, black sweat pants and white gym shoes when she went missing. She was driving a black 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Illinois plates ARH648.
 
Anyone with information should call police at (847) 882-3534 or e-mail investigations@ci.schaumburg.il.us, according to the Schaumburg Police Department community notification.
