Dancing into his 100th Year

When administrators of The Fountains at Crystal Lake learned their resident, Earl Morrison, would be turning 100 on July 29th, they asked him what one thing he’d like to do for his birthday. His response: “Go dancing with my wife!”

They wasted no time arranging the date at a local dance hall and last Saturday, Earl got his wish. Decked out in his best suit, he took Shirley for a spin and even stole a kiss from his beautiful bride.

But that wasn’t all. Asked what meal he would like for his birthday dinner, Earl said “Roast beef, mashed potatoes and corn!” They arranged for a local restaurant to cater the meal, complete with a slice of birthday cake.
