To kick off your planning, here are some quick and easy ideas to host your spooktacular party started:

Keep it devilishly simple. No need to rummage through party stores and spend lots of money on dull decorations. Nor is it necessary to make complicated DIY crafts. Instead, use dim lighting with flickering candles, scary sound effects or clips of scary movies

Plot it out creep-tastically. Avoid ghoulish long lines for your guests by making sure there are multiple food and beverage stations to create good flow. Try to display a station of mashed potato bar with all the fixings from bacon bits, cheese, scallions, sour cream, etc. Also display an interactive candied apple station with melted caramel, nuts, sprinkles, crushed graham crackers, etc.

Pick a spooky palette. Either work with a scary or cute Halloween scheme. An all-black color theme for this haunted holiday works beautifully. Add decorations to your entryway, atop your bar, or in the bathroom. Make sure to include those small nook areas of your home. Your guests will appreciate the small décor details.

A seasoned party planner always greets their guests with a signature drink upon arrival. It does not matter if there is alcohol in the beverage, it’s still customary to your guests and gives them a warm feeling to your home.
