ReplyI guess I did agree to matt's comment from earlier but I should have said it was the second half of his comment. Since I have never eaten there I don't know what is in it. I was agreeing how absurd it was that this guy was organizing a customer appreciation day...think of something better to do for your village!

ReplyWow!!! Everyone sure is letting their opinion out! I was not going to respond anymore because the true haters come out even more....but I couldn't let it slide, wish I could but I just can't. DalaiMama-are you for real? I believe in equality for everyone and I can not for the life of me understand some people. You are comparing a man marrying another man as to marrying his favorite dog....there are some people out there in the world who get married and do not want children. And saying gay people try to shove it down the throats of other people is absurd. There are always that 1% of people who have their own agenda. I'm so glad your children will grow up thinking just like you and not thinking for themselves. My daughter who is 9 has more compassion and understanding for other people and that is something you will never know and for that i feel sorry for you. And to comment on the last stupid thing you said that people can turn out gay by relentless propaganda of pro gays is just an example of your limited education into the matter. As I said before everyone is entitled to what they believe but when it borders on evil and hatred that is just not acceptable.
@Dan...I think it was wrong that they are trying to deny this restaurant based on a select group stating it is not Chicago's values. I am so glad he stuck to religious beliefs, I will also stick to my beliefs that everyone be treated equally no matter what...now is that so hard people???? -

ReplyI figured I have never tried it so I wasn't missing it before and I won't miss it now. I just wish people wouldn't make such a big bally hoo about it. I wish people would just keep their agendas out of everything. I don't believe the same things as Mr. Cathy but everyone is entitled to their own say but I think he should keep it out of his business. I believe he said what he did to drive up his business and now all the followers are flocking like a bunch of idiots. I mean eat there if you like it and that should be the end of it!

My point exactly Jennie M! I asked earlier if anyone who was debating this had a son or daughter who was gay and did not receive any responses. I am wondering this because I think it would make all the difference in the world. You are going to tell me that if one of these people who are sooooo against it for whatever reason had a son or daughter that was gay and they were denied something as simple as getting married to their partner that they would feel the same way???? Heck no! I support equality for everyone....wish everyone else would too.

I hope gay marriage does get legalized because as I said before I believe in equality. I'm sure you wanted to say more to me because of the views I have but I am sure you held back....I respect your views and I do not have a cause as you might think and bullying? I did not bully in any way. I think you need to read back your response to me and take a long hard look at yourself....from what I see no one in your family is gay because if they were I am sure you would have nothing to do with them. I can not even go back and forth with you anymore because honestly you are not worth my time. I am just glad I do not know your real name because I am hoping I do not know who you are. Make sure you button down the hatches and keep your children away from all the gay people...you might catch it!
