Two District 155 High School football teams have advanced to the Illinois High School Association's quarterfinals. Those two teams - Crystal Lake Central and Cary-Grove - face each other at 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 10, at Cary-Grove High School, Cary. The Cary-Grove Trojans Varsity Football team (11-0) is undefeated this season. The Trojans beat the St. Patrick's Shamrocks, of Chicago, 49-21 on Nov. 3, at Cary-Grove's home field in the second round of the Class 6A high school playoffs. Crystal Lake Central Tigers (9-2) stumbled in the beginning of the season, but then found their game and have been strong ever since. Crystal Lake Central and Cary-Grove high schools won their playoff games this past weekend and now will face each other at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Cary-Grove.

The Cary-Grove Trojans Varsity Football team remains undefeated. The Trojans beat the St. Patrick's Shamrocks 49-21 on Saturday afternoon at Cary-Grove's home field in the second round of the Class 6A high school playoffs, the Daily Herald reports. The top-seeded Trojans (11-0) will advance to the quarterfinals where they will play District 155 rival Crystal Lake Central at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, the Herald story said. Congrats Trojans!
