The Breakers Restaurant in Crystal Lake remains closed for repairs after a car ran into the side of the Chinese restaurant in February, according to information posted on The Breakers website. Repairs are underway and the restaurant at 7728 Highway 14 in Crystal Lake. Owners hope to re-open the first week in April, according to an answering machine message received when calling The Breakers on March 21. The car that struck the building caused damage to the kitchen area of the restaurant, according to The Breaker's website.
