Texas Roadhouse Restaurant to Replace T.G.I.Friday's in Crystal Lake
Friday's is expected to close, and Texas Roadhouse officials plan to renovate the building near routes 14 and 31 next year, the Northwest Herald reports.
Crystal Lake is gaining a Texas Roadhouse, but will lose T.G.I. Friday's restaurant at 835 Cog Circle in the process, the Northwest Herald reports. Crystal Lake City Council members last week approved plans for the 300-seat Texas Roadhouse, a southwestern-themed restaurant that specializes in steaks, ribs, and fresh-baked rolls. T.G.I. Friday's is expected to close down, but an exact date was not available, the Northwest Herald reports. Renovation work on the building, located near Menard's, could start in the spring. The new restaurant will have three garage doors that can be opened in the summer to provide patrons with alfresco dining, the Herald stated.
