Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Daniel C. Pinkowski, 21, 1608 Spruce St., Spring Grove, was arrested March 28, and charged with retail theft under $300. Police said Pinkowski stole a bottle of liquor from Dominick's Finer Foods, 5340 Route 14. Pinkowski was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. His bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. He was scheduled to appear in court April 16. Borica Porres, 37, 420 Ann St., Marengo, was arrested April 1, and charged with retail theft under $300. Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Mark F. Henshall, 54, 4902 Drive-in Lane, Crystal Lake, was arrested March 3, and charged with retail theft valued at under $300. Police said Henshall stole plant seeds and batteries from Menards, 4850 Route 14. Bail was set at $1,500. Henshall posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court April 9. Jennifer A. Ocasio, 29, 7920 Ridgefield Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested March 5, and charged with two counts of retail theft and one count of endangering the life/ health of a child. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Domestic Battery Ronald L. Tubbs, 51, 153 Edgewood Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 24, and charged with one count domestic battery/ bodily harm, one count battery/physical contact, and one count domestic battery/physical contact. Police said Tubbs had a dispute with two family members in the 900 block of Golf Course Road. An adult neighbor intervened to help the victims, and was pushed by Tubbs, police said. Note: An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Theft Jonathan A. Pease, 30, 400 W. Virginia St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 18, and charged with one count of retail theft, one theft of disorderly conduct, and one count of possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana. Police said Pease left Trax Depot Cafe, 70 E Woodstock St, in downtown Crystal Lake without paying for a cup of coffee. Pease was transported to McHenry County Jail. Bond was set at $1,500. Loring, 49, 726 Juniper Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's warrant for endangering the life/ health of a child. Police said Loring failed to properly supervise a child under her charge. The boy was riding his bicycle along a busy street when a concerned citizen alerted police. The boy was not injured.
