Visitation is on Monday, Jan. 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home in Crystal Lake and Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary in Algonquin.
Paul Arthur Marsh, 85, of Crystal Lake, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, after battling cancer. He was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Francis and Pauline Marsh. Upon graduating from Burlington High School in 1947, he served a tour of duty in occupied Japan as a member of the U.S. Army. He received his B.S. degree in pharmacy from the University of Colorado in 1951, and served another three years in the Army as a pharmacist in Germany. He married Donna Lau in 1953, and devoted his life to her, their children and the service of others.
