Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin, 38W830 Highland Ave., Elgin, with a reception to follow the service at the church.
Mitchell Alan Kremer, 54, of Crystal Lake, passed away Nov. 13, 2012, in Barrington. He was born on June 14, 1958, to John and Andrea (nee Zehren) Kremer, in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Mitch spent his career advocating for people with disabilities and youth in foster care. Most recently he was the resource manager for the Center for Child Welfare & Education at NIU. Mitch had many interests including photography, gardening, music and travel. He was a loving husband and father who supported his children in all their endeavors. Family and friends always came first in Mitch’s life.
