Sheriff Arrests McHenry Man Accused of Selling Marijuana

A McHenry man was arrested and charged Tuesday after the McHenry County Sheriff's Office received a tip he was selling marijuana in the McHenry area. Michael A. Damore, 26, 1732 Court St., was arrested Feb. 12, and charged with one count of unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver (a Class 2 felony) and one count possession of cannabis (a Class 3 felony), according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Led Policing Unit and K-9 Unit acted on a citizen tip that Damore was selling cannabis in and around the City of McHenry, McHenry County Sheriff Keith Nygren said in a press release.
