The 2011 Summer Sunset Festival in Lake in the Hills is scheduled for Friday, Sept, 2 through Sunday, Sept. 4. Follow Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Patch on Facebook With carnival rides, entertainment scheduled for each night, a parade Saturday morning, plenty of events and competitions scheduled throughout the days and an awesome fireworks display to round off the weekend, we want to make sure you are covered on where to go and when. Cost: It's free and so is parking! Things you will have to pay for: carnival rides, games, food and beverages. Cost for ride wristbands: Unlimited ride wristbands for one day cost $20.
