Jimmy Ray Roach, 61, of Cary, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. He was born in Marks, Mississippi to M.E. and Mary Roach. Jimmy was a Vietnam Veteran and was employed with Mathews Company of Crystal Lake for 17 years. He enjoyed writing and restoring old cars. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 43 years, JoEllen; children, Mark (Noelle), Wendy; grandsons, Michael and PFC Brian Roach; brother, Carl (Tita); sisters, Willa Mae, Frances (Jimmy), Alice, Ernisteine (Bill); many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services for Jimmy will be private. More information is available at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Crystal Lake.
