Crystal Lake Man Charged with Criminal Sexual Abuse of Child
Michael A. Petersen, 35, was arrested Dec. 14, and charged with criminal sexual abuse and solicitation of a child.
A Crystal Lake man had inappropriate sexual contact with a child on various occasions over the period of one year, according to Crystal Lake Police. Michael A. Petersen, 35, of 1390 Fair Oaks Ave., was arrested Friday, Dec. 14, without incident at his parents' Huntley home, according to Crystal Lake Police Commander Mike Brichetto. Petersen was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, and one count of indecent solicitation of a child, a Class 3 felony, Brichetto said in a press release. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail, with bond being set at $100,000. That little girl will never be the same. Why would a child that age lie? Makes no sense. Not sure what a "nice chat with guys like this" would do. They are sexual predators and have an additction problem. They are sick and need mental help. We all, well most, of us know that sexual offenders repeat more than a majority of the time.
