A Round-Up of Area Easter Egg Hunts, Events

We've got a list of upcoming Easter egg hunts and area events worth checking out in coming days.

The Easter Bunny will be busy this weekend as he makes the rounds to Easter egg hunts throughout the area.  Below is a list of Easter egg hunts and other Easter events worth checking out in the coming days:  Dog Easter Egg Hunt in Cary The Cary Park District will be hosting a dog egg hunt beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at Hoffman Park. The hunt will be located outside of the dog park area. All are welcome to attend. All dogs must be on a leash. This event is free. Area Restaurants Open for Easter Brunch

Several area restaurants are open for Easter with specials, brunches, and great holiday meals for the family. Port Edward, 20 W. Algonquin Road, Algonquin Port Edward is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. offering their regular champagne brunch for the holiday. The buffet includes omelets made to order, eggs benedict made to order, fresh belgium waffles, clams casino, Alaskan snow crab, smoked trout, smoked salmon, shrimp etouffee', Greek marinated chicken and more. A more detailed menu is availabe on Port Edward Restaurant's website. Reservations are necessary and there is still some availability throughout the day. The price of the buffet is $32.99 per person.
