Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police Department arrest reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. DUI Daniel J. Pieplow, 19, 886 Canterbury Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 16 and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of improper lane use. Pieplow posted $100 and his drivers license and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 27. Karen L. Engelking, 57, 3206 Plum Grove Rd., Rolling Meadows, was arrested Oct. 22, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol level over .08, and one count of failure to reduce speed.
