Crystal Lake Woman Wins $275K in 'Lucky Day Lotto'
Susan Wolek won the Nov .19 drawing of the Lucky Day Lotto with a $1 Quick Pick ticket.
Christmas just got a little brighter for one Crystal Lake resident. The Illinois Lottery announced Susan Wolek won the Nov. 19 drawing for the Lucky Day Lotto. Wolek matched all five winning numbers for the jackpot and won $275,000, Lottery officials said in a press release. “Christmas will be different this year because now we have more to give,” Wolek said in the release. “It’s wonderful to be able to help your family, what a nice feeling.” Last month, Wolek stopped for gas at the Crystal Lake Mart, 770 Virginia Rd., Crystal Lake, and decided to buy one $1 Lucky Day Lotto Quick Pick. “I usually play $1 a week because I always believed that it only takes one ticket to win,” she said.
