Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation, and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Mathew R. McHugh, 34, 1261 Sandlewood Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 5, and charged with endangering the life/ health of a child. Police said McHugh left a young family member home alone without proper supervision. McHugh posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Feb. 26. Leanne E. Springer, 37, 321 Harold St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 1, on a warrant for three counts of forgery issue, and two counts unlawful possession of a credit card. Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Kevin M. Jamnik, 42, 804 Windsor Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with domestic battery/physical contact, interferring with a domestic violence report and resisting a police officer. Police said Jamnik was involved in a dispute with a female family member in his home. The battery was of a "provoking nature" and did not cause injury, police said. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Bradly M. Heckman, 24, 190 Briarwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 12, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count DUI/ blood alcohol content of .08. Hjorth, 52, 1743 Kings Gate Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 28, and charged with one count domestic battery/ bodily harm, one count domestic battery/ physical contact, and one count resisting/ obstructing an officer. Police said Hjorth allegedly battered her 65-year-old husband causing minor injuries. Hjorth was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Jail, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.
