Carol Domagala, 71, of Crystal Lake died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois – Barrington. Carol was born Dec. 18, 1941, to Louis and Dorothy (Bates) Redfern. She married Gerald Domagala on May 24, 1969, in Downers Grove. She was an avid reader, great cook, enjoyed watching movies and playing pinochle. Her family was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: John (Laura) Domagala, Cara Domagala, Michael (Angela) Domagala; grandchildren, Sarah, Cayla, Brandi, Ashley, Joshua, Leah; and her sister, Shirley Hochleutner.
