Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Benjamin G. Oswald, 18, 1615 Stockton Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 22, and charged with one count of theft, valued at $500 to $10,000. Police said Oswald stole cash over a period of time from a register at Target, 5580 Route 14, where he was employed. Oswald was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. Timothy J. Sani, 27, 1203 Magnolia St., Harvard, was arrested Jan. 25, and charged with two counts of retail theft under $300 and two counts of criminal trespass to land. Police said Sani …
