Note: The following information was obtained from the Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is ony accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Three family members were arrested at their home and charged with various offenses on Jan. 24. John J. Gaughan, 47, 980 Waterford Cut, Crystal Lake, was arrested and charged with one count of possesion of a firearm with a Firearm Owners Identification Card and one count illegal possession of ammunition/ FOID. Gaughan posted 10 percent of $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 19. Darlene M. Gaughan, 46, of the same address, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis. She …

Crystal Lake Police release reports for Nov. 13-22, 2012.
Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. Disorderly Conduct Jennifer M. Ahmann, 23, 1409 Elk Trail, Cary, was arrested Nov. 14, and charged with one count of disorderly conduct. Ahmann posted $120 bond and was released. Ahmann is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18. Domestic Battery Adam J. Gaughan, 20, 980 Waterford Cut, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 13, and charged with one count domestic battery/ causing bodily harm and one count domestic battery/ physical contact. Crystal Lake Police release reports for Oct. 16- Oct. 30, 2012.
Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police Department arrest reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. DUI Daniel J. Pieplow, 19, 886 Canterbury Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 16 and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of improper lane use. Pieplow posted $100 and his drivers license and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 27. Karen L. Engelking, 57, 3206 Plum Grove Rd., Rolling Meadows, was arrested Oct. 22, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol level over .08, and one count of failure to reduce speed.
