Three Oaks Elementary School, part of the Cary School District, serves about 415 students in kindergarten through…More fourth grade. Students here study core subjects of math, social studies, science and language arts, but also have music, physical education and art classes. Internet access is available to students and staff.
The school is located on Three Oaks Road, next to the Cary Public Library and close to Cary Grove High School and Cary Grove Park. It is within walking distance to many major Cary subdivisions, and walking paths provide easy access from many of these neighborhoods to the school.
Three Oaks School has been given "exempt" status based on its performance on the Illinois State Assessment Program for the past five years.
Students here start school at 8:45am and are dismissed at 2:30pm. Students who live more than 1.5 miles from the school are provided bus service.
The school's mission is to "provide Three Oaks students with the knowledge and skills they will need in leading productive lives and to foster an enthusiasm for learning."
Curriculum is more than what appears in manuals or a series of activities. KinderCare believes curriculum is…More everything that happens in the classroom, from interactions and meals to singing and playing. They never miss an opportunity to educate.
KinderCare teaches children life skills that go beyond reading, writing and math. It has programs for all age groups from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. They structure their curriculum around four key elements of development to ensure the growth of the whole child: social, emotional, physical and intellectual.
KinderCare has a nurse consultant on call, its personnel have annual training and it has a bus that can transport students to and from regular school.
KinderCare is a part of the Cary Chamber of Commerce.
