Trinity Oaks Christian Academny, founded in 1991, serves approximately 200 students in Cary from Kindergarten through the 8th grade and expanding on excellence with the addition of 9th grade in Fall 2012.
The school is a non-denominational Christian school which draws teachings from many evangelical theological backgrounds. The curriculum includes biblical teachings, math, science, social science, reading, music, and technology.
Athletics here include baskebtall, volleyball and cross country for students in 5th through 8th grade, and cheerleading for girls in 6th through 8th grade. Grades 2 through 4 have the option of participating in intramural basketball. Physical education is also a part of the school's curriculum.
The school's parent-teacher asociation, H.O.P.E. (the Husky Organization of Parents and Educators), coordinates events such as, holiday parades, the annual school picnic, and the Race for Education throughout the year.
