The newest addition to District 47, Glacier Ridge Elementary School opened its doors on August 27, 2001. Offering kindergarten through fifth grade, the school houses approximately 730 students to go along with its staff of 60. Making this school unique, Glacier Ridge also offers an early childhood center for children with special needs.
