Galati's Pizza & Pasta
847-516-3663
A lot of commuters working in and around Chicago's Loop and living in Cary get off the train and walk straight to Galati's for dinner—it's across the street from the train station. Sometimes their families have even arrived first and are waiting with a table. The place is owned by Vince Galati and his partner Len Lipetri. Galati says they like Cary because it still has that small-town, family atmosphere. The food is outstanding. On the other side of the building, on Spring Street, is the entrance to the bar.

Get the linguini with clam sauce. Manicotti and veal Marsala are very good. I've been eating here for 10 years.
