At age 22, Chris Pagnoni started Fatties Boardshop as a way to liven up the neighborhood. The name of his shop is an inside joke between Pagnoni and his friends. At Fatties, you build your own skateboard. You pick the wheels, trucks, bearings and the board. "Long boards are the next big thing," Pagnoni said. "Come on in. Check it out . . . .You no longer have to go to Crystal Lake to buy a skateboard."
