The park district, serving Cary, Fox River Grove, Trout Valley, Lake in the Hills, parts of Oakwood Hills and unincorporated McHenry County, is made up of 52 parks and was established in 1971.The park district hosts many programs and events for kids, teens, adults, seniors and the whole community throughout the year.
