Some people pass by the place and see the dozens of motorcycles in the parking lot and are afraid to stop in. Don't let that keep you away, said Bonnie Miske, manager of Broken Oar. "It's really a family place," Miske said. Mike Haber, longtime Cary resident, is the owner. The Broken Oar is a restaurant, bar and marina on the Fox River, in Port Barrington, near Cary. A sign on the Broken Oar says that it is a hard place to find and even harder to forget.
