The weather this week is expected to deliver more snow, cold and snow showers/ icy conditions by week's end.
Today, McHenry County could get more snow. Snow showers are forecast to start this afternoon and could continue off and on through Tuesday morning.
The bulk of the storm is expected to stay north of the county (in Wisconsin). But that storm could dip slightly south of the state line, according to accuweather.com.
Monday's high will be about 19 degrees.
There'll be a slight warmup by Wednesday (about 34 degrees) and Thursday (39 degrees for a high temperature). The warmer temps could lead to icy conditions mixed with snow on Thursday morning.
