Weather for the Week: 80 Degrees in October!
Weather for the week of Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.
Greetings Crystal Lake and Cary:
The weather is looking very summer-like this week even though we're moving into the month of October.
The Accuweather forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, temperatures climbing into the 80s by Tuesday and staying there through Thursday, when a chance for thunderstorms are possible.
In the allergy report, indoor dust and dander counts are expected to be "high" Tuesday and into the "extreme" level by Wednesday. The warmer weather lengthens the ragweed season for allergy sufferers, as well.
