Arctic Blast Moving In, Snow in Forecast

The cold weather is expected to hit McHenry County on Sunday, with rain showers turning over to snow by Monday afternoon.

Cold air is expected to blow into McHenry County on Sunday, and the temperature is forecast to drop even lower by Monday and Tuesday, according to Accuweather.com

The high for Monday, Nov. 11, is expected to reach 40 degrees, but from there the mercury will dip into the 30s by afternoon when the arctic blast blows in. Morning showers could possibly turn to snow by Monday afternoon. Accumulation will be less than 1 inch, according to Accuweather.com.

Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy and cold, with a high of 34 degrees.
