VIDEO: Raue Center for Arts Opens '26 North'

26 North is a newly renovated bar on the second floor of the Raue where private receptions can be held with visiting performers, guests, Raue volunteers and donors.

The second story of the Raue Center for the Arts, 26 N. Williams St., in Crystal Lake, has always been used as a gallery.

The space was originally filled by five very small apartments. The gallery had not seen any improvements since the Raue Center for the Arts opened.

Over the past year, Raue directors and volunteers worked to make 26 North a reality. Renovating the space cost upwards of $80,000, and the result is a contemporary meeting room perfect for pre- and post-show parties.
