Two Drop-Off Sites for May 5 Clothing Drive

The drive will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

First United Methodist Church in Woodstock and SAGE Products in Cary will sponsor a clothing drive to benefit Turning Point, McHenry County’s only comprehensive domestic violence agency and shelter.

The drive will accept all sorts of used clothing, including clothing for men, women and children and maternity clothes as well as coats, hats and gloves.

Clean household linens, sheets and blankets, towels, curtains and small area rugs will also be accepted, as well as shoes, purses and belts.

Clothing should be placed in large garbage bags and brought to either the parking lot at First United Methodist Church, 201 West South Street in Woodstock or the Parking lot At SAGE Products 3909 Three Oaks Rd in Cary. 

Volunteers from the church and SAGE Products Exuberance Committee will be on hand to unload clothes from vehicles. Please remove clothing from hangers and bag all items.

Turning Point is McHenry County’s only comprehensive domestic violence agency and shelter with a mission “To confront violence against women & children in McHenry County.”

The drive will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 5.
