Pioneer Center Presents Moonlight & Music

There's a special night approaching where people can enjoy moonlight, music and food while helping fund a local nonprofit agency.

The premier social event of the season, Moonlight & Music, will be an open air concert at 6 p.m. June 10 at Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock. The concert will feature "the fiery, romantic sounds" of Incendio.

“Each year, with the support of the community, Pioneer Center, the county’s largest social service agency, changes lives and provides care to the most vulnerable of our community members,” said Christin Kruse, Vice President of Fund Development for Pioneer Center. “This event is our main fundraiser of the year and it allows us the opportunity to share our mission and celebrate our successes with the community.   In light of the budget cuts the state is currently proposing, it is imperative that we continue to partner with community-minded individuals to sustain our programs. I hope to see you there.”

In the spirit of past Pioneer Center Gold Rush fundraisers, this inaugural outdoor event will provide guests with gourmet food, an elegant golf club setting and music by the critically-acclaimed California band Incendio (Spanish for fire). To hear samples of their music, visit incendioband.com.

General admission tickets are $65 per person and include a picnic basket filled with a travel blanket and a light chef-inspired meal including either a turkey chipotle wrap or a vegetarian wrap. Outdoor seating only, chairs are not provided. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs.

VIP admission tickets are $125 per person and include gourmet hors d’oeuvre stations including petite, chef-inspired sandwiches, summer salads, strawberry shortcake and more. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Each couple will receive a picnic basket and travel blanket.

VIP Reserved Seating is available for $1,400 for a table of 10. A private outdoor table willbe available. Each couple will enjoy the VIP chef-inspired hors d’oeuvre stations and will receive a trendy picnic basket and cozy travel blanket.

A full cash bar will be available for guests. No outside food or beverages are to be brought in. Dress is casual and the event is rain or shine with no refunds.
