The Environment Defenders of McHenry County's summer "Use-It-Again Garage Sale" will be held Thursday through Saturday at the Algonquin Township Road District garage.
The garage is located at 3702 U.S. Route 14, between Crystal Lake and Cary.
According to the volunteers preparing for the Use-It-Again sale, this year's event has "interesting and useful stuff." All sale items have been donated.
Stop by and check out the offerings which include: "lots of hockey and golf equipment, a garden tiller, hammocks, electric lawn mower, housewares and more," according to a Defenders press release.
Garage sales serve a dual purpose for the Defenders. They raise much needed funds for the citizen-based organization, while reducing the amount of still useful items heading for a landfill.
Sale hours will be:
8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28
