The contest is open to youth, teen and adult amateur photographers. June is National Recreation and Park month. What better way to celebrate this month than by visiting Cary’s beautiful parks and capturing a picture of them?

Subject matter can vary.
Last year’s entries included close-ups of flowers and other interesting vegetation. Several entries featured colorful, zoomed-in shots of park district playground equipment. Others focused on natural landscapes in and around Cary.
