The Bull Valley Garden Club is hosting its once-in-a-decade garden walk on Saturday, July 14. In fact, the club, having held its last walk in 2000, is a couple years late with the event.

"We have six gardens," said garden walk co-chairwoman, Debby Staley. "In addition to the gardens, we will have speakers, vendors and lunch for those who pre-registered. All of the gardens are botanically labeled."

Staley added that the club has assigned mentors at each garden to answer any questions visitors may have.

"The primary purpose is for education," Staley said. "We hope we've at least provided people with the opportunity to learn a little bit more about gardening."
