Trojans' Struggle at South Shootout

Cary goes 1-2 after losses to DeKalb, St. Edward following Woodstock North win.

One game. One 40 minute game was Cary-Grove’s boys’ basketball team from winning their pool Friday night at the Crystal Lake South Gary Collins Shootout.

All the Trojans had to do was beat St. Edward in their third game of the day and Cary would have taken their pool and played in the championship bracket.

A loss however would send C-G all the way to the bottom of their pool and the consolation bracket.
