Prairie Ridge, Dundee-Crown Square Off in Huntley Sectional

The teams will play Wednesday.

Dundee-Crown and Prairie Ridge will square off against each other Wednesday in the sectional semifinal match-up at Huntley High School, according to the Illinois High School Association website. 

The game will begin at 4:30 p.m., according to the IHSA.

McHenryCountySports.com reports Dundee-Crown is the most surprising team still left of the four remaining FVC Conference teams. Dundee-Crown finished the season with an 8-18 record while Prairie Ridge (25-11) "finished a game behind co-champions Crystal Lake South and Huntley in the FBC Valley Division," according to McHenry County Sports.

The winner of today's game — as well as the winner of Thursday's match up between Jacobs and Hononegah High School — will advance to the sectional final championship game at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Huntley.
