Palatine Travelers' MCYSA Run Ends Againat Bartlett

13U team can't score runs against Silver Hawks.

The Palatine Travelers 13U team couldn't gain a lot of momentum during the McHenry County Youth Sports Association Summer Championships in Crystal Lake.

The Travelers went 2-2 in pool play—a two-game winning streak sandwiched between two losses—before entering the single-elimination Gold bracket phase.

The Travelers opened the bracket phase by beating a solid Oak Brook Outlaws team 7-2 before falling to the Bartlett Silver Hawks 9 to 1, which ended Palatine's tournament run.
