With their win over Woodstock North last week, Crystal Lake Central etched its name in the playoff bracket with one game still to be played.
Central will travel to Woodstock Friday night to finish up the regular season.
The Tigers went back to their roots offensively last week enforcing its will on the ground. The tandem of junior running back Gage Harrah and senior running back Dyllon McKinney were once again a force to be reckoned with.

One thing that must be corrected before the playoffs begin is Central's lack of discipline. Penalties have been a problem for CLC, although it hasn't shown up on the scoreboard. But McKinney says it will be fixed.
"We just need to be more careful of what we are doing. We need to be smarter, watch the ball and know the count," McKinney said.

"I know we are going to run in practice for it, maybe that will help," McKinney added.
A guaranteed playoff appearance plus facing a less then stellar opponent could equal a trap game for Central. CLC must respect the opponent at hand and look to build that ever so important momentum going into the playoffs.
