This Friday Crystal Lake South are doing what no team in school history has ever done, go into the last game of the season undefeated.
The only thing standing between the Gators and a perfect regular season are the McHenry Warriors.
The Warriors have struggled all year, only beating the winless Dundee-Crown Chargers this season.

But don't count on the Warriors letting South skate by with an easy win.

Just two weeks ago McHenry put up a great fight against Cary-Grove, only to lose in overtime.
South is going to need to stop passer Robert Tonyan along with receivers Jimmy Preston and Corey Szamlewski.
Tonyan has completed 199 passes this season for over 2,300 yards and 19 touchdowns. With South seeing run heavy teams the past few weeks, the Gator defensive backs may be in for a busier game than usual.
One thing CLS won't have a problem doing is putting points on the board, even with starting runningback Bolek Mikulec potentially not being able to play Friday after being wheeled off the field on a stretcher last Friday night.
McHenry's defense is one of the worst is the Fox Valley Conference, allowing opposing teams to score an average of 36 points a game.
