At age 17, Jason was diagnosed with a terminal heart disease. 14 years later, Jason and his wife found themselves talking to the transplant doctor at Loyola Hospital about a rapid plan for a heart transplant work up. At the end of January, Jason completed the work up and just one week later was listed as a status 1A patient and admitted immediately. Now, all there is to do is wait. While we're waiting, his family and friends would like to raise awareness about heart transplants and help Jason and his wife with the overbearing cost of medical bills.

Jason is the son of Battalion Chief (ret.) Roy Cipri, 29 year veteran of the Palatine Fire Department and his wife Robin.  He is an avid Blackhawks fan, much loved uncle and music lover & composer, who was part of a Christian rock band that toured overseas.  Future plans include rock climbing, moutain biking and spending time with his wife, Alison.
