A look at how Trojans athletics did this week.

Here’s a look at how fall sports teams did this week….

Volleyball: C-G started their week Tuesday with a two-game win over Jacobs as Nicole Schuh led Cary with 11 digs.

Cary added a two-game victory against McHenry on Thursday, winning 25-15, 25-12 as Ashley Rosch had seven kills.

The Trojans remain undefeated at 15-0 overall and 3-0 in the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division.

Boys Soccer: Drew Connor scored three times as the Trojans defeated Crystal Lake Central 8-0 on Tuesday to open the week’s play.

On Thursday, Cary continued their streak of shutout play with a 3-0 win against Johnsburg.

Connor added two more goals in the win to improve Cary to 7-1 on the season.

Girls Tennis: The Trojans opened the week Monday with a  5-2 win over Lake Zurich. Amanda Dorsey won at No. 1 singles to lead Cary.

On Tuesday, Cary lost 6-1 to Crystal Lake South as the Gators stayed undefeated on the season.

Thursday saw C-G rebound with a 7-0 win over Woodstock as the Trojans only lost 12 games over the seven matches.

The Downers Grove North Invitational was Saturday for Cary, who went 3-1 overall. Beth Hughes and Amanda Dorsey won all four of their matches at No. 1 doubles for the Trojans.

Boys Golf: Daniel DePrey, Jarrett Kinney and Justin Kinney each shot 2-over par 39 to lead Cary to a win over Jacobs on Tuesday.

The Kinney brothers helped the Trojans gain another victory on Thursday with a one-shot win against Huntley.

Jarrett Kinney shot a 2-over 38 while Justin Kinney had a 3-over 39. On Saturday, Cary was at the Dundee-Crown Invitational where Jarrett Kinney led the Trojans with a 75 to finish in sixth place individually and lead C-G to a sixth-place finish.

Girls Golf: The Crystal Lake Central co-op team which includes Cary-Grove, played in the McHenry County Meet on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Tigers won the tournament by 11 shots as Central’s Lexi Harkins finished with a 3-under par 67 for her two rounds. Cary’s Amalia Emma finished with a 81 to finish fourth and Larisa Luloff shot a 82 to take fifth place.

Cross Country: Cary’s teams were at the Blue Devil Classic in Gurnee on Saturday. The boys’ team was led by Dustin Throw, who finished in sixth place as the Trojans finished 13th overall.

On the girls’ side, Talia Duzey finished eighth individually as C-G finished third overall.

Girls Swimming: The Trojans defeated Woodstock 86-84 on Thursday as freshman Melissa Rose was part of three Cary wins including 200 medley relay and 200 free relay along with an individual victory in the 200 IM.

Lauren Curtis won the 200 and 500 freestyle along with assisting Rose in the 200 medley relay victory.

The Trojans were at the Woodstock North Invitational on Saturday, finishing third. Curtis won the 100 and 200 freestyles for C-G.
