Boys Basketball: Cary continued non-conference play Wednesday night, hosting Carmel. C-G would be tied heading into the fourth quarter but would fall 47-39 to the Corsairs. Jake Bianchi paced the Trojans with 15 points while Zach Taylor scored 14. On Saturday night, Cary finished the week with a 62-48 loss to Rockford Jefferson. Ben Bradshaw scored 13 to lead the Trojans, who fell to 1-7.
Girls Basketball: The Trojans opened Fox Valley Conference Valley Division play Tuesday with a 43-35 win over Prairie Ridge. Joslyn Nicholson led C-G with 11 points while Olivia Jakubicek added ten in the victory.

Cary added their second win of the week Friday with a 43-25 win over Crystal Lake South. Jakubicek was C-G’s top scorer with 15 points while Paige Lincicum scored ten.
Saturday brought Cary’s third game of the week and their third straight win in a 39-32 win over Grant at the Mundelein Tournament. Lincicum scored 12 while Jakubicek added ten points as Cary improved to 6-3 on the season.

Wrestling: C-G was in Johnsburg Friday night and dominated the injured Skyhawks in a 58-9 win. Cary benefitted from five Johnsburg forfeits and reeled off six straight wins to end the match.
