Prairie Ridge High School has been celebrating homecoming all week.
The theme for this year's homecoming festivities is "Under the Sea," according to the website for the school, located at 6000 Dvorak Dr., Crystal Lake.
The Wolves have packed in several homecoming events today, Friday, Oct. 5. Students will have a school-wide pep rally in the afternoon, followed by the homecoming parade at 4 p.m.
Parade Route: the parade will start at the back of the school, travel east on Pleasant Hill. It will enter the Squaw Creek subdivision and loop back to Pleasant Hill, leading back to the school.
A block party is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. after the parade on the school grounds. The 2012 coronation of the homecoming king and queen will be announced at 6:30 p.m.
The Prairie Ridge Wolves varsity football team will host Jacobs High School. The game starts at 7:15 p.m. The student dance is slated for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6.
