Prairie Grove District 46 Superintendent Zimmer Resigns

Superintendent Lynette Zimmer has announced plans to leave Prairie Grove District 46 for Lake Villa District 41.

Prairie Grove School District 46 Superintendent Lynette Zimmer has announced plans to leave the district at the end of the school year, the Northwest Herald is reporting. Zimmer has accepted a new position with Lake Villa School District 41, the story said. 

Zimmer is in the midst of her fourth year with District 46. She is the fourth of six administrators to leave the district since the beginning of the year, the Herald reports. 

District 46 has two schools, an elementary and junior high school, located at 3223 Route 176 in Crystal Lake. The district serves about 888 students and has a staff of 65 teachers, according to the Illinois State Report Card.
