After just six rehearsals, Cary-Grove students put together a full concert Thursday evening.
The Cary-Grove music department presented their annual Spring-Band concert Thursday evening.Â
"The kids have been working really hard on this concert, and their improvement over the year has been outstanding," director Marty Magnini said.
"The morning wind ensemble is made up of our best musicians, these kids volunteer to get to school at 5:45 in the morning one day a week to rehearse some tough music. Â They put this concert together in just six rehearsals, and I couldn't be prouder of them."

He added, "Our concert band has been so fun to work with this year, I am lucky to work with such nice kids who have such a great attitude, most of these students give up lunch to play in our band."
"That's the kind of enthusiasm that makes me want to come to school every morning and the wind symphony has turned into one of the finest bands I've had the pleasure of conducting. They inspire me every day with their humor and attitude, and I will miss our seniors terribly next year."
