Girls After-School Basketball League Starts Soon

The Crystal Lake Park District is accepting registrations for the Girls After-School Basketball League for students in 4th through 6th grades.

The announces registration is open for the Girls After-School Basketball League for the fall season.

Girls in grades 4th through 6th will have a great time in this basketball program held in gymnasiums.

"Everybody plays in this basketball program," Public Information Coordinator Jenny Leech said in a press release. "Participants will develop basic individual basketball skills and team concepts all while having fun in a no pressure environment!"

The league program includes five officiated games scheduled at various District 47 elementary schools to give players the chance to use their newly acquired skills in game situations.

Parents are responsible for transportation to all away games. Team shirts are included in the fee. Sixth-grade players may select to play at the grade school of their choice.

Please note: this program will not meet on half days of school, or when District 47 does not meet.
